Khao Yai National Park

This is the oldest and the second largest national park in Thailand. The park has successfully implemented many conservation ideas and the results are visible for all to see. There are more than 320 species of birds, 67 species of mammals and 3000 species of plants thriving in Khao Yai National Park. Mammals include tigers, elephants, gaur, sambar deer, Asiatic black bears and many more. It is also adored by tourists who are looking for some adventurous time as the park has some really well laid hiking routes. The park has many credits to its name. It has been designated ASEAN Heritage Park in 1984 and UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005.
