National Museum (Peace Memorial Museum): Zanzibar

History of any country is fascinating to explore, especially if it is set in a nice way in a museum, National Museum of Tanzania which is situated in Zanzibar is one such place that is worth exploring. Its exhibits include traditional craft items, artifacts from era of sultans and Chinese explorers, a very old palm oil powered cycle, and the famous David Livingstone's medical chest. Started as a peace memorial, the museum is also home to many land tortoises that can be seen in the museum garden.
