Tanzania

Situated in the eastern part of Africa, Tanzania is one of the most gifted countries in the world. The biggest endowment of nature, wildlife is also the main attraction of Tanzania. Take a safari through Tanzanian Wildlife reserves and you will know why Africa is called the cradle of life.

With Indian Ocean on its eastern side, Tanzania shares a boundary with Kenya and Uganda in the north, Zambia and Mozambique in south, and Rwanda and Burundi in the west. The center is also home to two great lakes. First is Lake Victoria which is Africa's largest and world's second largest lake and second is Lake Tanganyika which is the deepest lake in Africa and the second deepest lake in the world.

The country is filled with some of the most varied wildlife parks in the world which are home to exquisite flora and fauna species. The most popular wildlife reserves in Tanzania are Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Park. Mount Kilimanjaro is another attraction that proves to be a gem for tourism in Tanzania. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa and is a hot spot for trekking tours.

Dodoma is the capital city of Tanzania but the largest city of Tanzania is Dar es Salaam. The capital Dodama is situated in Central Tanzania and is just a political capital. The most happening city of Tanzania is Dar es Salaam. The main attraction of the city are The zoological gardens, National museum, village museum and beaches. Other cities to visit in Tanzania are Arusha, Kigoma and Mbeya.
