Taipei 101

Taipei 101 has become one of the most recognizable structure of Taiwan. Not only is it the tallest building in Taiwan, but also in the world. With 101 floors, Taipei 101 tops at 508m. At night, the building is illuminated with different themes of colors on each day of the week. The building comprises a multi leveled shopping mall, an observatory and many office complexes. It holds many records to its name apart from the tittle of the tallest building. It has the fastest ascending lift system in the world which runs at a speed of 16.83m/s; the first ever building to cross the half kilometer mark; the first skyscraper of 21st century; the largest countdown clock and many more.
