About Matterhorn

It is a pile of the Alps, straddling the principle watershed and outskirt amongst Switzerland and Italy.

It is an expansive, close symmetrical pyramidal crest in the expanded Monte Rosa territory of the Pennine Alps, whose summit is 4,478 meters high, making it one of the most noteworthy summits in the Alps and Europe.

The Hörnli, Furggen, Leone, and Zmutt edges are the four soak faces.

Its mountain neglects the Swiss town of Zermatt, in the canton of Valais, toward the north-east and the Italian town of Breuil-Cervinia in the Aosta Valley toward the south.
