The Ice Hotel: Jukkasjärvi

They call it the coolest hotel to stay in, in the world, literally. Completely made out of ice, it is rebuild every year in November using 4,000 tons of densely packed snow and ice. If you plan to stay in the hotel, make sure that you come here in winters only, as the hotel melts away as the spring sets in. Apart from the fact that it is made up of ice, it is not much different from a conventional hotel. It has beautiful rooms, honeymoon suites, a cinema, 45 foot vodka bar and a an exceptional reception. Most of the lighting in the hotel is done by using fiber optics which gives it a futuristic outlook. The furnitures, sculptures, fittings, are all made up of ice.
