Solar eclipse from Easter Island: July 11th, Sunday will witness a total solar eclipse that can be best viewed from a corridor that bisects the southern Pacific Ocean. The approximate distance to be covered is 14,119 kms in around five weeks and most of the rally drivers will be on the vintage cars. FIFA World Cup, South Africa: The beautiful game, as football is called underway in a majestic fashion in South Africa back in June 11th. The champions have taken the fields to display their skills among the deafening cheer of the spectators. The world has already shifted base to different cities of South Africa. Burning Man Festival, Nevada: A wild freaking event that is due on August 30th till September 6th, Burning Man takes its name from a ritual of setting ablaze a wooden effigy in US. This event is a place where all can be participants with a wholesale sense of freedom and liberty. Try some fun activities that are organized around this event and have a blast!

Commonwealth Games, New Delhi, India: The capital of India is going to host the 19th edition of the Commonwealth Games starting on October 3rd till October 14th. More than 5000 athletes from across the Commonwealth countries will showcase their skill during this gala sports event. Steal away time to visit the tourist attractions in Delhi along with the nearby Rajasthan and Agra that is famous for the Taj Mahal.

Pushkar Camel Fair, Rajasthan, India: This annual fair happens to be the largest cattle fair in the world with more than 50,000 camels coming together. And the tiny town of Pushkar in Rajasthan sees a staggering 185000 visitors during the fair. This year Pushkar Fair is set to get going from November 13th to November 21st. Apart from the cattle, the huge cultural coffer of Rajasthan comes alive during various events in the fair.

World Expo 2010, Shanghai: Stated from May 1st and running till October 31st, the World Expo 2010 focuses on the major issues related to urban living in the upcoming time. The theme of this mega fiesta is Better City, Better Life. Participating countries have their own pavillions and they share their individual experience and views on urban development and management.
