Tourism Ministry To Consider Multidisciplinary Icons For Incredible India Campaign

Tourism Ministry of India has examined various suggestions for its 'Incredible India' campaign. For this, it has decided to include Multi-disciplinary icons, popular sports personalities and female mascot to promote and gain attention of foreign visitors. As per tourism ministry, female mascot for 'Atithi Devo Bhava' will be the great reason for increase of foreign tourism.

As per Mahesh Sharma, Tourism Minister, the ministry is continuously receiving best suggestions and proposals that will promote tourism. After examining these suggestions, ministry will finalized it and will declare it. Moreover, ministry was questioned of deciding the new face of 'Incredible India' campaign, as it was suggested to select a popular face from fields like sports rather than only from film industry.
