Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasis on the tourism opportunity through seaway, he said that India is expected to attract about 1.2 millions tourist through seaway by 2030-31. For this, he is emphasizing on developing 7,500 km coastline as an engine for the growth of tourism in country. For the development of ports, he has planned for 1 lakh crore investment and has welcomed global community to invest in India in this project. He said the shipping sector is ready for a revolution, just requires investment and will open great opportunity for providing pleasant journey to tourists. This would be the great opportunity for the investors to invest in growing sectors.
Prime Minister also said that it is better for everyone to come through sea route in India. He assured investors that he will personally take care of the investors wealth and will assure that it is safe, secure and satisfactory in their interest. He also revealed that shipping ministry has 250 projects where investment is required. The projects emphasis on infrastructure development opportunities in 12 major ports, eight maritime projects and much more that provides best investment opportunities to investors.
