To target more Arab travelers, Kerala Tourism Department has launched an innovative taxi promotional campaign in Dubai showcasing the rich culture, waterfalls and other exciting destinations on taxis running through the metropolis. A total number of 200 Kerala-branded taxis has launched with the message of ‘A Faraway Land Four Hours Away’ for the primary stage. The campaign will promote the state’s best Monsoon getaways for the hot Arabian summer.
The report states that Kerala has received more than one lakh travelers from this region only previous year. The majority of this number came from Saudi Arabia, while UAE and Oman were on second and third positions respectively. Tourists from Arab are the biggest spenders; that’s why it’s an obvious choice for the state tourism department to target this region for outbound tourism rather than others.
