Amarnath Yatra will be started from 2nd July 2016 and Jammu & Kashmir tourism department is all set for it. For ensuring the best travel arrangement for the pilgrims, the government reviews the arrangements related to accommodation, transportation, registration, medical facilities, lodging, boarding, security, and water supply.
The officials have also revealed the helpline numbers for the travelers and any issue related to the journey can be addressed from it. The meeting of concerned officials also discussed on motivating Amarnath Yatra pilgrims to explore other nearby locations like Raghunath Temple, Balidan Stambh and Bahu Fort along with nearby tourist spots.
