July 27, 2011 by sheena

Ireland tourism is hoping about 15 to 20 per cent increase in the coming year. It is because of its new visa system that includes a short stay waiver for valid UK visa holders from 16 select markets, including India.

To boost this initiative, the Ireland government has also introduced a visa waiver commencing policy that is valid from July 1, 2011 till October 31, 2012 for all the leisure and business travelers holding valid UK visas. Consequently, there will be no need left for them to apply for a separate Ireland visa.

To make this travel scheme more clear, the Ireland government has also clarified the names of the country from which they anticipate a fruitful growth in its inbound sectors. These involve vacationers coming from India, China, Russia, CIS countries, and select countries in the Middle East and hence it will open many lucrative job opportunities for them.
