Continuing from 26th September 2016, Indigo airline – India’s lowest cost air carrier, will launch a new international flight from Chandigarh to Dubai. The flight will be the first air carrier to make international connection for Chandigarh International Airport.
Mr. Aditya Ghosh - IndiGo’s president said, “Chandigarh has always been a promising market for the company. We all are very excited to connect Chandigarh International Airport to its first ever international connection, which has been a long standing request from people here after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration of airport’s new terminal last year.
Indigo is the largest air carrier at Chandigarh, and operating domestic flights from Chandigarh to six other cities of country, which includes Delhi, Srinagar, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru. The Chandigarh-Dubai air service will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft.
