India To Get Additional Airports In Years To Come

India is a culturally rich country that attracts domestic and international visitors all through the year. The reason is the beautiful tourist spots that are associated with various mythologies, ancient history or reflect the beauty of Indian society, culture, and tradition. Thus, considering it, Indian Finance Minister has decided to develop new airports in the country. He said that the number of airports would be increased above 100 so that travelers who plan their journey may be for business, leisure or travel reason may avail convenient air services to various parts of the world. The minister also said that India has a large number of travelers, hence proper and well-maintained infrastructure and airport is to be built to promote new flights.

The tourism sector in coutry will be strengthened only when people get better infrastructure and travel facilities. Thus, airports play vital role in promoting the travel industry and strengthening the economy of the country. Therefore, new airports will be developed with all the international standards all over India. The minister stated that department has planned to develop around 80-100 airports across the country that will connect Tier II and Tier III cities.
