The latest travel figures shown by Dubai Department of Tourism have highlighted an interesting rise of 10% in Indian tourists who have chosen UAE as their vacation destination. Further, the hotel data collected by the end of 31 March has also bumped a major increase of 186,478 Indian tourists from last year's figures of 169,084 who stayed in Dubai hotels.
Besides, Dubai was also voted 'Middle East’s Leading Destination' at the recent World Travel Awards 2011 Middle East Ceremony and thus rejoicing a resurgent tourism economy. However, it is also predicted by the UN World Tourism Organization that a surge in per capita income will result in the rise to 50 million Indian outbound tourists each year by 2020.
So, we are really looking forward to see a fantastic growth in Indian tourist arrivals deciding on Dubai as their favorite stopover.
