1. people, 5 countries & 5 million hearts
Aug 2016: An impressive concoction of throttle, expressways / highways, adventure, and exploration is all on its verge to set a new benchmark in the travel world. 5 Indians; gearing up to personify freedom this August 15th by flagging off on a 5 nation road trip from Singapore to India via Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar. "The Great Independence Day Ride - 2016" is a road trip expedition sandwiching 5000 kilometers amidst these five nations on the most talked about Asian Highway number 2 connecting these South East Asian countries; a year ahead of the trade route opening.
This endeavour is an attempt in its infancy to promote Tourism, Culture, Travel, Food, Music and Motorcycling between the neighborhood countries connected through roads. A great way to articulate with the historical linkages, celebrate cultures and traditions across the borders and exemplify independence! Perhaps, a headstrong thought that could be sieved out is that of diminishing borders of political atrocities in the age of globalization.
