The journey to Amarnath goes through overly challenging terrain, molded with dangers at every step. The pilgrims have to face not only the high altitudes and rocky paths but also the rain and snow. Despite the difficulties, the devotees are always all set to face the worst during the Yatra to Lord Shiva’s holy adobe. Here are 3 reason to travel to this sacred place!
1. New Packages for Amarnath Yatra will be Launched Soon
The Jammu and Kashmir government in collaboration with central government has decided to introduce various travel packages to the Amarnath Yatra. The new tour packages will definitely provide the best opportunity for the pilgrims to enjoy other nearby tourist spots like Gulmarg in north Kashmir, Mughal garden, Dal lake in Srinagar and much more. Adding these tourist spots in tour package will add beauty to the trip and pilgrims will have an opportunity to explore other important tourist spots of the valley. Thus, overall all these new places will add beauty to the trip and will attract a large number of travelers during the holy yatra.
The emphasis is also due to the associated benefit and contribution to the economy. Thus, the Home ministry has started discussing the elements with the Union Tourism Ministry and state government to frame the platform for such packages. The trip to Amarnath takes place through two routes one from South Kashmir’s picturesque Pahalgam and the other through Northeast Sonamarg. Hence, the emphasis is to develop both these routes and connect the nearby tourist spots with the tour packages. The packages will be specifically drafted for pilgrims who travel through the different routes to Amarnath.
