1. Air India\\\'s Carriage Capacity will Strengthen with 14 New Airbus Crafts
On the special day of inauguration of Aviation 2016, a new announcement is made by National Carrier Air India that ALAFCO, a Kuwait based leasing company will lease about 14 airbus A32neo craft to Air India that will further strengthen the domestic carriage capacity of Air India. The event was held in Hyderabad and delivery of these aircrafts is expected to be executed by next year. Ashwani Lohani, CMD, Air India and Ahmad Al Zabin, CEO, ALAFCO successfully signed this agreement.
As Air India is a prominent air service provider for passengers, it is expected that this deal will further boost their domestic markets capacity. It already has large number of Airbus A320 and this deal will further add Airbus A320 to this family. As per Lohani, this important deal strengthens the existing domestic fleet and will play major role in meeting the demand of domestic market. The new A320neo aircraft are fuel-efficient which reduced fuel consumption by 15%, operation efficiency, reduce noise and emission, as they are fitted with new generation CFM leap engines.
