Air India Plane Returns Midway Due To Suspected Rat
Air India aircraft AI 131from Mumbai to London was returned midway due to a suspected rat in the plane. It was returned for investigation to ensure the safety of passengers. After the investigation, availability of rodent was not confirmed; still this step was initiated to ensure complete safety and security of passengers. As per Air India, this process was to ensure the complete safety of its passengers even there was no enough evidence of the rodent.
For providing timely arrival of passengers to London, a standby plane was arranged for the fly and engineers started investigating the suspected plane. As per procedure, the suspected aircraft of Air India will be fumigated to avoid any harm from the presence of rodent.
