Divided into several zones like the China zone, Australia zone etc., this aquarium houses many endangered species. The aquarium is built in the form of a tunnel which is close to 509 feet.
3. uShaka Marine World
uShaka marine world is basically a marine theme park which also hosts one of the grand aquariums across the world. A tank that can fill about 1.85 million gallons of water is placed at the centre of this hall; this is also one of the largest tanks in the entire Europe. You will find about 45,000 species living harmoniously within this aquarium.
7. Turkuazoo
This massive aquarium opened up to the world in the year 2009. Located in Turkey within the Forum Istanbul shopping mall, this 80 meter tunnel, houses 1000 species in about 1.32 gallons of water. Along with the aquarium, this place also houses a rainforest habitat and a forest wetland.
8. The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium
This aquarium opened itself to the audience in the year 2002 at the ocean expo park. The Kuroshio sea is one of the exhibits present in this expo park. With close to 2 million gallons of water and an acrylic glass panel, the aquarium is known to house manta rays and whale sharks in an incredible environment. This is one of the few aquariums where whale sharks are housed.
9. Dubai Mall Aquarium
As the name suggests, this aquarium is located inside the premises of the Dubai shopping mall, also known as one of the largest shopping malls in the world. With about 33,000 species present in a tank that fills 2.64 million gallons of water, this aquarium is accounted to be one of the most defining experiences.
10. Georgia Aquarium
Present in Georgia, Atlanta, this is one of the biggest aquariums in the world. It houses more than 100,000 animals, representing 500 species, all of which reside in 10 million US gallons of marine and fresh water, and was the world's largest aquarium when it opened in 2005.
