At 8.5 acres it is the most ambitious water feature ever created. More than a thousand fountains at the Bellagio dance to music ranging from Pavarotti to Sinatra. Lake area: 375,000 square feet, equivalent to three city blocks or eight football fields.
2. Archibald Fountain, Sydney
Located in Hyde Park in Sydney. A gift to the City of Sydney bequeathed in the will of J F Archibald. It is a commemoration of the brilliant association between France and Australia in WW1.

Located in Suntec City, the city center of the beautiful city of Singapore. Largest fountain in the world. Inspired by the Hindu mandala, this newly refurbished icon represents unity in spirit and harmony among the various races in Singapore. Made of bronze.

It symbolizes beauty and friendship across nations. The fountain is made of 16 sculptures, all of which are wearing national costumes that depict the unity within Soviet Union. The fountain has an octahedral pond made of red garnate, with a surface area of 4000 square meters.

This fountain takes the form and shape of a tap, and so has been named the tap fountain. It is located in Menorca, and appears to be hanging without any support. Reality is that the support is beautifully hidden under the stream of water pouring down from the tap.

Located in Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Innsbruck Austria. Built in 1995 by Andre Heller, Brian Eno, Susanne Schmogner and Studio Azurr. The shape of the fountain is similar to Alpine Giant that sprouts water from its own mouth.
7. Buckingham Fountain, Chicago
Built in 1927. Built in a rococo wedding cake style and inspired by the Latona Fountain at the Palace of Versailles, it is meant to allegorically represent Lake Michigan. It operates from April to October, with regular water shows and evening color-light shows.

Standing with grace in Waterfront Park, Charleston City in the U.S. state of South Carolina. This fountain stands at the northern entrance of the park. It makes the park a famous tourist attraction. The park received the 2007 Landmark Award from the American Society of Landscape Architects and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
