Phinda Resource Reserve, a private reserve situated in Northern Zululand, is most famous for having seven different African ecosystems in its premises. The park covers an area of nearly 35,000 acres which is best traversed by taking a boat cruises and canoe trips through the old waterways. This will get you closest to the wildlife of birds, crocodiles, hippos and many other reptiles. They are generally full day trips punctuated with mid stops. You can also indulge in game fishing and dive into the world's southernmost reefs.
