A medieval castle on the Castle Hill in Ljubljana, the Ljubljana castle is surely one of the major attractions of the country. Situated at a higher ground than rest of the city, the castle dominates the skyline of Ljubljana Castle and offers breathtaking view of the charming Ljubljana city. According to surveys, the castle has been lived in ever since 1200 BC. The castle houses a chapel, a restaurant and a museum. You can visit the castle daily between 9 AM to 10 PM in summers (May to September) and 10 Am to 9 PM in winters (October to April).
