Curieuse Marine National Park: Curieuse

This one of its kind national park is situated on Curieuse Island. The island is famous for the Coco de Mer palms found only on two islands in the whole of Seychelles which has a become a kind of a cultural symbol for the people of Seychelles. The water around the Curieuse Island is teeming with exceptional marine life; and to protect it, the area was declared as a marine national park. According to the recent census, there are nearly 300 Aldabra Giant Tortoise thriving here. There is a famous museum called the doctor's house that has all the information about the Curieuse Island. It is also a good place for some birdwatching.
