Fundação de Serralves – Porto

Lying on the western side of Porto, Fundação de Serralves is one of the most interesting attractions of the city. It is the National Museum of Modern Art that has put on display splendid art works of Portuguese painters and sculptors. One can visit this museum as many times and not get bored as the exhibits are constantly changed. With the huge collection it has, it is very much possible. Apart from the art works inside, the building itself has a charm that is hard to ignore. The building is considered to be an exemplary work of 1930s Art Nouveau. The sculpted gardens and fountains lend a romantic aura to the museum.
