Alpine Skiing

Around 300 Km north of Lisbon, you will find the most sublime spot for skiing in the Alpine. As the winter sets in on Portugal, Serra Da Estrela National Park prepares itself to welcome skiers from around Europe. It is home to Torre, the only skiing resort in entire Portugal. The resort might not be at par with best resorts in the Alps, but it sure is entertaining. There is a small equipment shop from where you can hire all the necessary things you require for skiing. January to March is the season for skiing as it is only during this time the snowfall is consistent.
