Manila, situated on Luzon island is the capital city of Philippines. Though it is the second largest city after Quezon City, Manila, with more than 1.5 million people, is among the most populous metropolitans of the world. Manila is an amalgamation of old world heritage, which is seen in the many historical buildings scattered in the city, and present day brisk lifestyle seen in the sky kissing scrapers.
There are many places of interest in the city like the Malacanang Palace, Rizal Palace and Fort Santiago. Other major cities of Philippines are Quezon City, Caloocan, Davao City and Cebu City.
