River Rafting: Down the Rivers

Peru has many rivers flowing down the mountainous hills to the plains. The largest five rivers themselves cover a total distance of more than 7000 km and there are lot many rivers that run for more than 600 km. The fast flowing rivers offer tremendous opportunity for white water rafting. Ucayali, the Maranon, and the Putumayo are the largest rivers that have rapids ranging from class 1 to class 5 making river rafting possible for professionals as well amateurs.
