Nidaros Cathedral, Trondheim

Nidaros Cathedral is the most important and among the most beautiful churches built in Norway. It is also the largest medieval building still standing in entire Scandinavian region. Completed around the year 1300, Nidaros Cathedral was build directly over the burial site of King Olav who was declared a saint 1 year after his death in Battle of Stiklestad. This brings many pilgrims to Nidaros Cathedral. Apart form the magnificent architecture of the cathedral, the main attraction in the church are two beautiful organs located in west nave and one in north transept gallery.
