Mount Victoria

Referred to as Mt Vic by locales, Mount Victoria is situated on the eastern side of Wellington. The Government house and the home of Governor-General is situated on the slopes of Mount Victoria. Rising to a height of 196 meters, the hill dominates the city skyline and its apex is a popular picnic spot for the locales. The views of Wellington from the top of Mount Victoria during the night is simply magnificent.
