Milford Sound

Milford Sound is the most important and beautiful of nearly a dozen fjords that constitute the famous Fiordland National Park. Situated on south Island, Milford Sound is one of the most photographed destinations in the Pacific. This 10 mile long inlet covered by 4000 feet granite cliffs with cascading waterfalls offers some of the best treks in the world. The Milford Track is famous among all the serious hikers as 'The Trek To Undertake'. Although it rains heavily here making it substantially tough for trekking, the breathtaking surrounding is more than enough reward for the trekkers not to say no to it. A cruise in the Milford Sound where you might sight bottlenose dolphins, fur seals and gulls, is an experience worth remembering a lifetime.
