Covering an area of nearly 5500 hectares, Hoge Veluwe National Park is one of the largest continuous national park in Netherlands. Some parts of the park are covered in forests and heath moors whereas some are covered with sand dunes and shifting sands. Most regions of the park are inaccessible by cars but you can hire a cycle for free and roam around exploring the unique wildlife.
