Ride on the Copper Canyon Railway

This probably is the most scenic rail routes anywhere in the world connecting Chihuahua state to Pacific coast. It took more than 90 years to be completely build and become ready to use. It was opened in the year 1961 and passes through rugged and mountainous terrain. There are around 39 bridges and 86 tunnels that you will come across during your ride. The surroundings that are visible from the train are simply astounding and will keep your eyes glued to the window. The elegantly decorated express train takes 14 hours to cover the distance with 7 stops in between. The railway line is considered an engineering marvel and probably the best way to travel the insides of Mexico.
