Your greatest challenge here is to catch the kelah fish. The fish is known for its speed and agility; and sometimes can weigh up to 9 kg. They are generally found in the placid waters of River Sungai Tahan. The river has abundant population of fresh water fishes. The best months to go angling in Malaysia are February, March, July and August.
