Bird Watching in Taman Negara

There is no match to Taman Negara in Malaysia when it comes to birdwatching. Almost 54% of total bird species are found in this small area itself. On a normal day, without any extraordinary luck, you can spot up to 150 species of birds and with a little luck on your side, hope to see more than 200 feathered species. Fishing eagle, crested fireback pheasant, masked finfoot, and blue throated bee-eater are some of the most commonly seen birds. There are more than 1000 species of butterflies here to add color to your sightseeing.
