Bako National Park

Among the few national parks that are famous among tourists to Malaysia, Bako National Park is the most important. It is the oldest national park in Sarawak on the island of Borneo; though it is the smallest park, but with its deep and well populated rainforests, it is the most exciting. The fauna here consists of proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, monitor lizards, palm civet cat and many reptile species. There is network of 16 color differentiated waling trails in the park that take you to all corners of the park.
