I just came back from two weeks in India organized by Magnetic Journeys. I travel constantly around the world and have been to more than 110 countries. That said if I were asked to rate Magnetic Journeys one out of ten I would give them a resounding 10! My wife and I had a fantastic trip, which was organized exactly as we had requested without the slightest detail falling through the cracks. Not only that, we decided to get married in a Hindu temple. They organized this unusual wish, and it was done exactly as we wanted - in a small neighborhood temple with most of the neighborhood enthusiastically participating. One of the two owners of Magnetic Journeys came to Udaipur for the day just to make sure that it came off without a hitch. Throughout our trip Magnetic Journeys management would call the driver and the guides to make sure all was well. They called ahead to all of our hotels and requested upgrades, which were often given. The amount of attention they gave to this trip was tremendous. They left no room for error. My wife and I traveled in February 2015. We arranged everything by email and a call or two to Shree. It was not always easy to contact me because of my hectic schedule, but all exchanges were pleasant and gracious, and unlike other agencies that were trying to get our business and would bombard me with daily phone calls, Magnetic Journeys was never aggressive or invasive, On the day of our arrival in Delhi, after our first day of sightseeing, Shree came to hotel and invited us for a tea to go over the details of the upcoming trip and to make sure that everything was as we wanted. My wife and I traveled just the two of us with a driver. We traveled to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaiselmer and Udaipur. In each city we had a different guide. Our driver, Dalpat, was excellent - a real master of the very difficult Indian road! Every guide was absolutely top notch with a deep knowledge of the place, the history, the religion and the culture. Indeed, one of the guides invited us to a family celebration and another to his house. These guides tremendously added to our understanding of India and Hinduism and the enjoyment of our journey. The hotels chosen by Magnetic Journeys were all fantastic! They were all havens of peace within the turbulence of the cities around them. As mentioned above, Magnetic would always call ahead a make sure there were no problems with the reservations and request an upgrade. When the plane we were taking from Udaipur to Delhi to get our transfer back to Europe was cancelled, they got us on an earlier flight and arranged an extra day of a driver and guide in Delhi before we were even aware that our flight had been cancelled. We also lost a photo album (left in a hotel, but we didn't know which one). We informed Magnetic about it more than a week later and within a day they had it for us. This kind of service is rare - anywhere in the world. Even for people who have traveled as much as my wife and I, India is different and not always easy. It is great to have such a conscientious travel agency standing behind you and ready to solve any problem immediately and efficiently. We have already decided that we will go back to India to visit the south - and we will most definitely use Magnetic Journey's services. I could not be more satisfied with their services and enthusiastic about our journey to India.
