With thousands of birds flocking the lake, a morning scene at Lake Naivasha seems straight out of a picture book. Nestling to northwest of Nairobi, it covers an area of 139 sq. km. More than 400 species of birds have been recorded here. You will see many hippos laying lazily in the water, taking refuge from the heat. Other attraction that you will see here is the Djinn Palace on the shores of the lake. Fishing is a thriving industry here and you will notice many fishermen in the middle of the lake, waiting for their catch of the day.
