Karakorum Explorers is an independent family owned licensed travel company. Karakorum Explorerswas established in 1992 by Mubarak Hussain, the founder and other staff were practically involved in tourism industry for the last twenty six years. Karakorum Explorers has its Head Office in the beautiful village of Ganish in Hunza - an ideal base for excursions to the mountains and into China. There is also a liaison office in Islamabad which is fully computerized with E-mail, fax, and internet connections to enhance communications. All the office based staff are highly experienced and guides, coming from the tribes in which the treks and tours are operated, have excellent local knowledge.
