Thrown open to public on April 15 1983, Tokyo Disneyland has become one of the most important attractions of the capital city. The park covers an area of 115 acres and was the first Disneyland to be opened outside the United States. The park is divided into seven themed parks namely World Bazaar, Adventureland, Weternland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Toontown and Tomorrowland. Cindrella Castle at the front of the park is the icon of the Tokyo Disneyland. With more than 13 million tourists in an year, it is the world's third most visited theme park.
