After a trip to the home of one of the most respected and hailed musician, it is time to visit the cottage of another well known British playwright, actor, songwriter- Noel Coward. Located about 32km east of Ocho Rios in Port Maria, Firefly is the name of Noel Coward’s vacation home. During one of his first visits to Jamaica, he was so much impressed by its tranquil atmosphere that he decided to have a hide out for himself here and named it Firefly.
Today, it is maintained by the Jamaican Heritage Trust and is a major tourist attraction for the travellers having a knack for the finer arts. Just be there and share the same air with this muti talented artist. His personal belongings are still there giving this place a heritage value.
