Valley of Temples

Valley of Temples, called Valle dei Templi in Italian, is a series of golden-stone Doric temples which strung out along a long ridge facing the sea. Sicily, during the 8th century, saw the arrival of Greeks and it was at that time these temples were built. It took nearly 300 hundred years to complete these temples. The Temple of Concord is probably the most magnificent of all to look at. They are also the most well preserved Greek Temples anywhere in the world.
