Savouring Wines at Pompei

Good news for wine connoisseurs, who cherish every sip of their glass and how wished that every bottle should be filled with wine. All you have an opportunity to taste a new sort of wine Ancient Volcanic Wine found only in Pompei, Italy. Especially when you are in Italy sampling varied wines is a must do and here where Ancient Volcanic wine properly fits in. Five Vineyards have been unearthed by the archeologist which were some 2000 year old. Using modern technology and the Mastroberardino family have been asked to replant ancient varieties in the same volcanic area. The project is being carried out by he Soprintendenza Archeologica and Società Mastroberardino, whose intentions are not to just rediscover wines but to pass on the heritage to the progeny and to tell them about their cultural roots that Pompei once held.
