The Roman and Imperial Forums

The Roman and Imperial Forum which is considered to be the center of Rome consists of numerous beautiful temples, the seat of the Roman Senate and the House of the Vestal Virgins. The Imperial forum was started by Julius Ceasar to demonstrate the power of the emperors. See the famous Trajan's Column which has bas-reliefs depicting the emperor's campaign against the Dacians.
