Built in 27 B.C by Marcus Agrippa, Pantheon is the most complete ancient Roman building remaining in Rome. Pantheon, literally meaning 'Temple of Gods', was reconstructed by Hadrian in 2nd century. He brought it to the grandeur that it commands today. The main attraction of Pantheon is its dome which is exactly as wide as it is high and is supported by hidden pillars in the wall. After Renaissance time, the Pantheon is used as a tomb but in medieval period, it was a Christian Church.
