Church of the Holy Sepulchre: Jerusalem

It is the most important Christian pilgrimage destination in Jerusalem. In fact, it is among the most important destination for Christianity in the entire world as it was here Lord Jesus is believed to have died and resurrected. Ever since 4th century, it has attracted pilgrims from all around the world. The building here was built by mother of Emperor Constantine in the year 335. Inside the church, there is a rock formation which is the spot where Lord Jesus was crucified. The main attraction inside the church is the Edicule which holds the Tomb of Lord Jesus himself. Temple Mount (Al-Haram al-Sharif): Jerusalem Temple Mount is a major pilgrimage destination in the Old City of Jerusalem. It is the most important religious center for Judaism in the world. It also holds a key position in Islam religion. The main attraction of the place is the shining golden dome at the top which has become the most recognizable feature of Jerusalem city. There is also a museum inside the premises which houses Islamic relics and Koran.
