National Car Museum of Iran: Karaj

This one is a must visit for all automobile enthusiasts. National Car Museum is one of its kind in the country which was opened in the year 2001 and displays vintage cars owned by Mohammad Reza Shah, the last Shah of the Pahlavi Dynasty. There are sport cars, limousines and sedans of the earliest eras that are a true treat to any car lover. Some of the adored cars in the Museum are Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, Rolls-Royce Phantom III, IV and V, Mercedes-Benz 500K, Maserati Ghibli and many more ultra exclusive vehicles. There are two sections of the museum, one is opened to the tourist and the other is the restoration section which is barred for the tourists. The museum is situated in Karaj.
