Umaid Bhawan Palace

The Umaid Bhawan happens to be the last of great palaces of India, suspended high above the Jodhpur city. In present world, it gives onlookers an ultimate taste of stately living, but it took 15 years to complete this imperial mansion. Its designing is done by the renowned Edwardian architect Henry Lanchester, and gave it a shape of a golden-yellow sandstone monument in chic art deco style formed on a grand scale.

The name of the Palace is kept after the Maharaja Umaid Singh Ji, whose all rooms and suites are ornamented with Art Deco interiors, original palace furniture, and are outfitted with up-to-the-minute luxuries. Its ambiance, big and large lawns, and every nook and corner make you feel rich like never before. Activate your taste buds with yummy Indian, typical Rajasthani zyaka, and European delicacies available at the Marwar Hall restaurant of the hotel. However, the a la carte restaurant of the Palace serves you other culinary flavors.

Sit and try standard liquors at the Trophy Bar and the melodious tunes of the folk music will create all your lost energies. However, your night can be cherished with “flaming torch” dinners organized in the lawns gardens. Special hunting tent Dal Badal is the place brilliant for theme party. Moreover, the private museum within the campus of the hotel gives wide information of the yesteryear.

Why Umaid Bhawan Palace
It is so because the Palace draws a simile to a paradise especially during the evening, when the melodious music springs up the musical fountain. Additionally, some other entertaining elements of the Bhawan include few rounds of croquet and squash and thus form incredible royalness before your eyes.
