About Skandagiri Trek

For an experience that is a beautiful amalgamation of history and adventure, opt for the Skandagiri trek. Around 60 km from Bangalore, this place is perfect for a short getaway from the city. It is in this hill that you get to witness ruins that date way back to the 18th century.

The trek is also suitable for novices as it is relatively simple and well marked out. As you make your way on top of the hill, you will be flanked by pleasant greenery. Once on the top, you are rewarded with great sights of the valley below.

Offering panoramic views of the night sky and the sunrise, this 8km trek comprises of ascending and descending through rugged terrains and can be completed within 4-5 hours of ascending and descending.
