Spare some time for this majestic national park located in the scenic Nainital district of the state of Uttarakhand. This is the oldest national park in India and is named after the great hunter turned icon Jim Corbett. Due to its sub Himalayan belt positioning, Corbett National Park is a fine example of an eco tourism spot with numerous varieties of plants and trees.

But the real crowd puller is the Bengal tigers of Corbett that are preserved and protected here under the elaborate Project Tiger of India. Here you can see this magnanimous beast in its true glory. Further, waiting for you would be Indian elephants, buffaloes, several types of reptiles and over 550 species of birds- both resident and migratory.
